TERMSOL Technical Validation

Internationally documented validation across thermal, fire, acoustic, structural, seismic, and more.

A broad international validation base

Between 2011 and 2025, the INSULTERM / TERMSOL system was evaluated by accredited laboratories, universities, and technical institutions across multiple jurisdictions. The documented validation framework spans Australia & New Zealand, Chile, China, Thailand, and Turkey, creating an unusually broad international reference base for a mineral composite system of this type.

Thermal performance

Reported evaluations place documented thermal conductivity values in an approximate range of 0.103 to 0.138 W/m·K, depending on formulation, test configuration, and local validation context. These results support the system’s relevance to energy-conscious construction and thermally optimised wall concepts.

Fire performance and protective relevance

The available documentation includes fire resistance results of up to 240 minutes in specific tested assemblies, together with classifications and technical evaluations associated with non-combustible or fire-protective positioning in several jurisdictions. This supports the system’s relevance for fire-safe wall, façade, and barrier-related applications, subject to configuration and specification.

Structural and seismic behaviour

In Chile and Turkey, the system was evaluated in relation to structural and seismic performance, including cyclic loading, full-scale testing, shear capacity, ductility, and dynamic response in light structural assemblies. The documented results indicate meaningful gains in stiffness, load-bearing behaviour, and energy dissipation capacity in tested frame-and-infill configurations.

Acoustic and durability profile

Further technical documentation refers to acoustic insulation, moisture resistance, freeze-thaw stability, chemical resistance, and long-term material integrity under demanding environmental conditions. This extends the system profile beyond insulation alone and reinforces its positioning as a multi-performance construction technology.

Environmental and sustainability context

The broader system platform is also presented in connection with low-carbon construction strategies, recyclable system elements, and environmentally evaluated material lines. In Thailand, related material lines were documented within a national carbon-footprint framework, adding a measurable sustainability dimension to the overall technology context.

Application flexibility

Depending on technical specification and intended use, TERMSOL may be considered in relation to spray-applied systems, composite wall assemblies, prefabricated components, modular construction formats, façade-related concepts, passive fire protection applications, and complementary light-gauge steel framing structures.

Patent and IP structure

The INSULTERM / TERMSOL system is supported by an active international patent structure derived from German priority filing DE 10 2015 218 759 and administered through WBR IP & License Holding Pte. Ltd. The current patent dossier describes six active patents and related rights across key markets, with stated validity extending to 29 September 2036.

Commercial framework

TERMSOL is presented for licensing, selected partnerships, and project-based cooperation. Technical information may be expanded in the context of qualified business discussions, depending on market, intended application, and licensing scope.

Further Enquiries

Further technical and commercial information may be made available upon request in the context of qualified licensing, business, or project-related discussions.
